27 Jan '12 Marorka joins President of Iceland at World Future Energy Summit
Marorka joined the delegation of the President of Iceland, Mr. Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, at the World Future Energy Summit earlier this month in Abu Dhabi. The Summit was attended by national leaders, world leaders in the field of energy, scientists and corporate executives from all over the world. Among the attendants were Wen Jiabo, Prime Minister of China, Ban Ki-moon, General Secretary of the United Nations and Scotland‘s First Minister Alex Salmond.
The President of Iceland had a meeting with the Prime Minister of China, Wen Jiabo, where they discussed the importance of green energy for the future development of industries and societies. Mr. Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, draw the Chinese Prime Minister‘s attention to the innovative work of Marorka in reducing energy consumption of ships and large fleets by developing high-tech energy management solutions. China is the world leader today in building ships. President Grímsson also participated in a meeting Marorka had with its partners and co-operators in The Middle and South East Asia.
