Hraðfrystihús Eskifjarðar joins the Maren development project
Marorka and HE, Hraðfrystihús Eskifjarðar (called Eskja hf today), have agreed that HE´s purse seiner Jón Kjartansson SU-111 will be the first ship using Maren. HE is one of Iceland´s leading pelagic fisheries. The 63 m long ship was renewed in 1999 and is equipped with a 5000 kW main engine and has a RSW installed. Marorka's Energy Management System, called Maren, is scheduled for release on 10 October, 2003.
