Marorka's Managing Director, Jón Ágúst Þorsteinsson, defends his PhD thesis
Jón Ágúst Þorsteinsson, Managing Director of Marorka, defended his Ph.D. Thesis "Modelling of Fishing Vessel Operations for Energy System Optimization" at Aalborg University on June 11th 2004.
The chairman of the Ph.D. committee was Associate Professor Lasse Rosendahl, Aalborg University. The opponents were: Professor Truls Gundersen, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Manager Propulsion, Research & Development Jens Ring Nielsen, MAN B&W Diesel A/S and Associate Professor Niels Abildgaard, Aalborg University. Mr. Þorsteinsson's supervisors were: Associate Professor, Thomas Condra, Aalborg University, Professor, Páll Jensson, University of Iceland and Professor, Páll Valdimarsson, University of Iceland.
