28 Feb '17 Marorka establishes a Fleet Performance Centre in Hamburg
Since the foundation of Marorka in 2002, the company has grown consistently, expanding its customer base, increasing the number of serviced vessels and extending its global services. Marorka, with its headquarters in Iceland, has offices in seven different locations around the world. Last December, Marorka and the Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute (SMDERI) jointly opened an energy management training centre in Shanghai as part of an initiative to increase customer services in Asia.
Marorka’s vision is to provide its customers with data-driven energy management and operational performance solutions and services. Marorka targets energy savings, OPEX reduction, crew performance and asset management to provide excellence in maritime efficiency for its customers.
To accomplish its commitment to meeting customers’ requirements, Marorka will establish a Fleet Performance Centre in Hamburg in 2017. The Fleet Performance Centre (FPC) will be staffed by experts who will support customers, vessel operators and owners in establishing a complete overview of all their performance related issues.
Marorka will concentrate its resources to provide unrivaled performance monitoring services, and all European activities will be consolidated in Reykjavik and Hamburg. The Copenhagen office will be closed as of February 2017.
