15 Feb '11 Marorka represents Icelandic Clean Tech on UK Baltic Nordic summit
On 19th and 20th of January UK Prime Minister David Cameron hosted the UK Nordic Baltic Summit in London. At the summit the prime ministers of Britain and the Nordic and Baltic countries met to share knowledge and experience of successful green technology and public welfare projects, focusing much on entrepreneurship.
Representatives from five companies from each of the participating countries were invited to the summit to present their projects, with the aim of exploring the possibilities of cooperation and knowledge sharing. Dr. Jon Agust Thorsteinsson, as Marorka’s CEO and chairman of the board of Clean Tech Iceland consortium, was invited to the meeting.
